Purposes and Objectives

Major purposes of the Movement:

• Protection of legal rights and interests of taxpayers;
• Assistance to perfection of the tax system;
• Integration of efforts of the constructive forces of the society for the purpose of solving problems in the field of the taxpayers’ rights protection;
• Assistance to establishment in the society of legal interrelations between taxpayers and the state;
• Unification of taxpayers for the purpose of enhancing their understanding of the tax system, the ways of protection of their interests and assertion of their position to influence upon the taxation policy;
• Assistance to consolidation of a civil society and a constitutional state in Russia.

For the purpose of realization of its authorized purposes in compliance with the applicable laws, Movement is dealing with the following issues:

• Assistance to development of business and private property in conditions of the socially bound market economy;
• Advancement of initiatives on issues related to perfection of the laws, submission of proposals concerning taxpayers’ rights before public authorities and institutions of local governments;
• Popularisation of the ideas of the Movement;
• Improvement and realization of projects and programs of development of inter-regional and international business exchanges;
• Realization of studies in the field of taxpayers’ rights protection as well as in the sphere of economic and social consequences of the applicable tax system effect;
• Provision of organizational, advisory, legal, financial and other types of assistance to bodies corporate and natural persons participating in the activities of the Movement;
• Assistance to taxpayers in learning major principles and rules of actions to be undertaken by them in conditions of an advanced tax system;
• To represent and protect one’s own rights, legitimate interests of the participants and other people before public authorities, institutions of local governments and public associations;
• To realize popularisation, publishing, teaching and methodical, research, advisory, information, advertising, enterprise, teaching and methodical activities in accordance with a statutory procedure.
